The biggest mistake I see is waiting until you feel ready.
Take it from someone who's been doing this a long time. You never feel ready.
If that's what you're waiting for, you're never going to do anything. You only learn by actually doing.
When I first started out producing, I used to make a remix every week and put it on SoundCloud for the world to hear.
Most of them were shit. Looking back, I wasn't ready. But nobody remembers the bad ones. A couple ended up being quite good. People remember those. Those ones opened doors.
Stop waiting to feel ready.
