Stop waiting for gatekeepers to let you in. A few years ago, when Boiler Room was the coolest thing in the world, I wanted to play it so badly. They weren't interested.
So I went on Google and searched for venues you could hire in London. I put a post on my Instagram story saying I was throwing a secret event, and you could sign up if you wanted to come. I got one of my mates to film the whole thing.
That video now has 14 million views on YouTube. I didn't need their permission — I built the room myself.
Go and build the thing yourself that you wish you were invited to.
Don't wait for the gatekeepers. You don't even need them anymore.
