In 2020, I made a demo track and I thought it was sick. So I sent it to Vintage Culture to see if he wanted to collab. He said yes. I was so gassed.
Over the next six months, I kept messaging him. He didn't reply. I messaged him two more times. Nothing. I just thought maybe he doesn't want to do the track anymore — I should probably give up.
But I messaged him one more time, almost a year after we first spoke. And this time, he actually replied. Sent me a version of the track he'd worked on.
That collab, Give Me A Feeling, now has 121 million streams on Spotify.
So be annoying.
