I don't want to get to the end and think I could have done more. I could have gone harder.

Good morning from London. It's 33 degrees today — probably the only sunshine we're going to get in England all year. And I'm on my way to the studio to lock myself in a room with no windows for 12 hours.

Why? Because I'm trying to make music that touches billions of people.

And I don't want to get to the end of it and think I could have done more. I could have gone harder. I don't want any regrets.

I think there's some crazy stuff I'm capable of. And I know the surefire way to get there is to work my arse off.

What this actually means

ambition without regret is a choice you make on the ordinary days — the sunny ones you spend in a windowless room because the work matters more.
